Following major ruckus that unfolded outside the Parliament on Thursday involving the MPs of Congress and BJP, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said no Member of Parliament (MP) from now onwards will be allowed to hold protest at any of the gates of the Parliament building, media reports have said.

The entire political chaos stemmed from the war of words in connection with Union Home Minister Amit Shah's controversial "Ambedkar is the fashion" remark.
MPs of both the ruling NDA and Opposition INDIA bloc on Thursday took out separate protest marches over the BR Ambedkar issue earlier today. However, the situation intensified when both came face to face outside the Parliament House, leading to jostling in which BJP MP Pratap Sarangi was injured.

While Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju claimed that two BJP MPs - Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput - were "seriously injured" by Rahul Gandhi, Congress party supremo Mallikarjun Kharge said his knees had been hurt in the protests.
Both Sarangi and Rajput were taken to the Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital after getting injured when the protesting INDIA bloc and the BJP MPs came face to face in front of Makar Dwar in Parliament.
As per reports, a police case has been filed against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi ba complaint filed by Union Minister Anurag Thakur with the Delhi Police alleging assault and incitement. "I was trying to enter Parliament and the BJP MPs were stopping me, pushing me and threatening me," Gandhi told reporters in Parliament premises.
"This is the entry to Parliament, we have a right to go inside and the BJP members were stopping us from going inside", Gandhi alleged. The Congress MP further demanded Amit Shah's resignation for his remarks on Dr BR Ambedkar.
